I let Monkey Shoulder sit for a moment before tasting it. It opened with vanilla note, then moved into soft fruit without losing balance. This one earned a place on my repeat list.

Took my time with this whisky neat. I liked the dry, tidy finish. The only drawback was that the smoke covered everything else. Good enough to revisit, especially with the right serve.

smooth - fruity - dry
