Molinari Sambuca had a few things going for it. I tried changing the serve, but the sweetness covered the main flavour. Maybe better in a stronger mix, though I wouldn't buy it for sipping.

The soft finish was enjoyable and gentle spice gave it enough character, although the aroma was better than the taste. Not perfect, but it worked well for me.

sweet - flavoured - dessert-like

Even as a cocktail accent, the finish was sticky. Then the aftertaste lingered too long. This simply didn't work for my taste.

fruity - rich
