3There were flashes of soft oak, but it was too syrupy. I wouldn't refuse it, but I have other favourites.

1I paid more attention to the finish on this rum. The main issue was that the flavour fell apart with ice, and the rest never recovered because the alcohol felt sharp. I tried to make it work, but I wouldn't pick it again.
