I wasn't sure what to expect from Big Boss, but I gave it a fair try. There were flashes of warming finish, but the sweetness was flat. Perfectly drinkable, just not something I'd seek out.

The bottle was easy to test in a basic mixed drink. It opened with soft oak, then moved into warming finish without losing balance. I'd happily choose it again.

oaky - warm - sweet

Big Boss was better when sipped slowly. There was enough mellow sweetness to keep me interested, even though the finish turned dry and bitter. Still a good pick and one I'd have again.

dry - oaky
